One of the city’s most active non-profits recently received a grant to fund a new mural in North Camden.
The Camden Community Partnership received $10,000 from the American Association of Retired People to paint a mural and install seating and new landscaping around an empty lot in North Camden.
“Murals are a way to not just change the perception of an area, but to ground a vacant lot or an under-utilized property and give it a sense of character and purpose,” said Kris Kolluri, CCP’s CEO and president.
