CONNECT THE LOTS is a community-driven initiative to activate Camden, New Jersey's parks and underutilized spaces through the implementation of artistic, cultural, and recreational projects and activities. The goals of the initiative are to engage Camden residents in neighborhood transformation, create safe nodes of activity, and to bring vibrancy to Camden’s corridors and public spaces.
The Camden Invincible initiative is designed to highlight the progress being made in the city, understanding that much work remains ahead. Camden Invincible is also dedicated to changing perceptions and applauding the collective efforts of people who are rebuilding this beautiful city.
Camden Works is committed to helping Camden residents find employment by guiding them through the entire process from preparation, skills development, recruitment and placement. By providing resources, case management and wrap-around services to encourage job-retention, Camden Works offers holistic support to residents of Camden looking for pathways to a viable career.
The Camden Collaborative Initiative is a solutions-oriented partnership between governmental, non-profit, private, and community-based agencies formed to plan and implement innovative strategies to improve the environment, health, and quality of life for residents in Camden, NJ.
CHIP encompasses a range of services, including assessments of roofing, siding, masonry, electrical systems, plumbing, insulation, HVAC repairs, and general carpentry. These evaluations help determine the necessary improvements to ensure safe and comfortable living conditions for residents. If you need assistance, call (855) 599-5155.
Camden Loop doesn’t follow a set schedule like traditional public transit does, instead we come when and where you want. When you’re ready to go, use the Camden Loop app to book a ride, and walk a short distance to meet your driver at a nearby corner. We’ll pick you up in a clean, comfortable vehicle, and get you on your way — fast, easily, and affordably.

Who We Are
Prioritizing a residents-first approach, we address housing, public safety, infrastructure, education, neighborhood initiatives, and green space development to enhance residents' quality of life. Community engagement is key, involving leaders, residents, employers, educators, and nonprofits to ensure ongoing economic growth and security. Through strategic investments, we aim to instill a renewed sense of pride and contribute to Camden's renaissance. We invite others to join us in the collective effort for a new Camden—a Camden Rising!
Team Camden had the opportunity to travel to San José, California, for Reimagining the Civic Commons Studio 11 Convening: Diverse Cultures, Common Ground.
Bringing leaders from across the country together to explore how public spaces, art, culture, and community engagement can help people feel more connected to their cities and to each other.
This experience left us inspired, energized, and full of ideas for future community development. From intentionally designed pocket parks and vibrant public plazas that drive foot traffic and support local businesses, to neighborhood-defining mural projects that strengthen identity and create destination corridors.
