Camden, NJ – On Friday, June 21st, Camden residents gathered for a family fun movie night at the park. As part of the Connect the Lots Summer Series of events, presented by Camden Community Partnership and the City of Camden, residents enjoyed a free screening of “Shark Tale” under the stars.
Attendees also were treated with free popcorn and drinks, yard games, and all the park amenities available. It truly was a night filled with fun, laughter, and new fond memories.
The 2024 Connect the Lots season will also feature a variety of new programming and special events held throughout the City of Camden, including but not limited to:
- Outdoor Movie Nights – running June-October (Various Dates), 8 p.m. in different locations (Alberta Woods Park, Liney Ditch Park, Cornelius Martin Park, Johnson Park)
- I Paddle Camden – July 1, 8:30 a.m. at Pyne Poynt Park
- Art Crawl – July 11 & October 10 in Downtown Camden
- Camden Peace Games – July in Von Neida Park (Date and Time TBD)
- National Night Out – August 1 (Time and Location TBD)
- Talent Show/Multicultural Day – August in Dudley Grange Park (Date and Time
TBD) - Camden Jam – September 13 in Roosevelt Plaza Park
- Latin Night – September 20, 5 p.m. in Roosevelt Plaza Park
