It's been a long time since Gateway Park, the long greenway on the eastbound side of the Admiral Wilson Boulevard, was first envisioned.

More than two decades, in fact.

Soon, the long wait for the park to become not just a greenway with a walking path, but a full-fledged park with amenities and programming, will come to fruition at last.
