One-Time Car Hoods Now Form a Tiger Mascot for Eastside High School

By Tap Into Camden, Neill Borowski, November 4, 2022

The 26-foot-long bright orange and black tiger – with car hoods as its skin – made the 2,000-mile drive here from Santa Fe, New Mexico in four pieces.

It now resides on a small hill in the Dudley Grange Park on Federal Street, across from the front entrance of Eastside High School, where on Friday it was honored as the school mascot. Another sculpture, a panther, was installed in 2021 at Camden High School to commemorate its mascot.
