The city is about to get a deeper clean from a new program with 60 temporary employees who will scrub city parks and business corridors that are beyond the boundaries of the Camden Business Improvement District.

And those who work temporarily for the new Clean Corridors and Safe Parks Program will get special city help to find full-time employment as their jobs end, according to the announcement.

The city will use $3.75 million in the American Rescue Plan's State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds to employ the temporary employees each year, from six months to a full year.
