Camden Community Partnership Hold Annual Reorganization Meeting Electing Board of Directors And Officers For 2023

The Camden Community Partnership (CCP) held its annual reorganization via a virtual meeting on Wednesday, February 15, 2023. This was the first meeting of the CCP Board of

Directors for 2023 which also confirmed the appointment of the organization’s annually elected board officers. The forty-two-member CCP Board of Directors welcomed Camden Mayor Victor Carstarphen (elected CCP Board Co-Chair) and CEO of Rowan University/Rutgers-Camden Board of Governors/Camden County Commissioner & Vice Chairman of DRPA Jeff Nash as the newestCCP board members. The meeting went on to cover CCP’s new initiatives and strategic investments in the areas of business development, transportation, job creation, community initiatives, infrastructure, and park improvements.

“I would like to congratulate our board members, including our newly appointed officers for 2023," said Camden Community Partnership President and CEO Dana Redd. "I am also grateful for my reappointment to the position of President and CEO. I have always been a strong believer that to whom much is given, much is expected in return. It is truly a privilege to lead the work of Camden Community Partnership and to advance the incredible revitalization taking place throughout the City. I look forward to working alongside our outstanding Board of Directors and staff as we continue to make tangible change in the lives of Camden residents.”

The Camden Community Partnership’s newly elected officers for 2023 include Camden Mayor Victor Carstarphen (Co-Chair), President of New Jersey American Water Mark McDonough (Co- Chair), 76ers Chief Operating Officer Lara Price (Vice Chair), Vice President & Treasurer of Campbell Soup Company Atul Garg (Treasurer), and owner of IJB Electrical Contractor LLC Ibrahim Branham (Secretary).

"I am confident in CCP’s ability to leverage key partnerships as we transform the City and positively impact outcomes for Camden’s children, youth, and families. As Mayor and in my capacity as CCP Co-Chair, I remain committed to building confidence in Camden, restoring pride in our community, and enhancing the quality of life for residents, businesses, and stakeholders citywide.”
