Melissa (Missy) Frankil is a project manager for Camden Community Partnership, joining the team in 2021 following graduation from the Master of City Planning program at the University of Pennsylvania. Missy brings a background and experience with community engagement, social impact, and transportation planning. At CCP, Missy is responsible for managing environmental justice community initiatives and neighborhood planning projects as well as the facilitation of the Camden Collaborative Initiative (CCI), a solutions-oriented partnership to improve health and the environmental in Camden. Missy’s role requires her to think creatively and to work collaboratively with Camden residents, partners, and funders in order to work towards the mitigation of environmental concerns and improve the accessibility of environmental justice conversations and efforts.
Missy holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies: Policy and Application from the University of Pennsylvania.
